Sailing School

The Sailing School commences on Sunday  23rd October 2016.

Budgewoi Sailing Club is running a comprehensive­ set of sailing classes. Assisted by qualified, patient,  and friendly assistant instructors. Mark Vandersteen (our head instructor) will show junior sailors that sailing is a fun, exciting sport and provide them with the essential skills they need to enjoy themselves on the water safely.

The classes are run from 10am Sundays and run for an hour to an hour and a half - weather & conditions pending. As junior sailors achieve proficiency in the sport, they'll be able to join the fleet races held afterward, a chance for young sailors to improve their skills, gain an understanding of basic racing principles & tactics, and eventually move into club-level competition.
